Bonus Suggestion

  • When you have the money, make your house look very grand so that you feel like royalty.
  • Always have your sims dressed as if they were going to a formal occasion.  They are royalty, after all!
  • Create specific sims for your sims to marry and use a little plastic surgery to make your sims look exactly how you want through all the generations.
  • Try picking a nationality and making it part of your theme.  Use original names and physical features to make your family seem more authentic.  For instance, Celtic people sometimes had red hair, pale skin, a slight body build for women, and names such as Aiden and Keelia
  • A last name meaning “royal” or something like it will help legitimize your sim family’s claim to power (or just sound cool, either one).

  1. What life span is best for this challenge? I love it, by the way, I've never done a sims challenge before but I'm gonna try this.

    1. Long life span is the easiest, normal life span is medium difficulty, and short would be incredibly difficult to achieve. The money requirements are the hardest part of this challenge, so if you want to make it a little easier you can lessen the required amount of saved money for each generation. Hope this helps.

    2. How can I change the lifespan and how can I own/use multiple lots in 1game the way you say?

    3. Can someone please explain me what does mean "family tree must be only descendants only direct from founder and their spouses"?Does it mean that First Queen must give birth to 24 children and rest are spouses and wifes of her children???

      Delete
    4. No, the first Queen must give birth to 8 children, and those children need to have children too.

  5. When we first start out are we suppose to use a cheat to buy a grand house and then reset our money back to the orginal amount?

    1. No, you're just supposed to start normally

Divertiti e basta!

  7. Can we move out the heir then move him back in to make room for more children?

  8. Seriously? You didn't need to be sexist to be realistic. You could've just left that out. Fuck this. The women in my legacy will be allowed to do whatever the men can. As a matter of fact, I'll have a woman lead. And men won't be "allowed to sleep with as many women as they want"

    1. The creator's just trying to be historically accurate, so please just chill, friend. There's no need to be rude! :P

      Delete
    2. You have issues if that actually made you mad. Just don't do the challenge...

      Delete
  9. Actually, to be historically accurate, the creator does. The time period this is taking inspiration from was a very sexist world. And the moving up through generations as women earn more of the rights ( they should have had in the first place) is part of the point.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yep I know it's sexist but hey it's a challenge after all,I highly doubt the creator was trying to offend anyone, just being historically accurate so just take a chill pill every ok this was created just for fun and never intended to hurt anyone

    1. If you plan on just keeping the girls at home you should probably download the mod that keeps social services from taking your children and keep the girls at home. Or download the mod that takes away the school and create some sort of home tutoring for the boys. You could also just send everyone to school.

      Delete
    2. Social Services doesn't take the kids for not attending school in TS4...

      Delete
  16. Social services do take them away if their grades keep slipping in TS4

  17. So what if I have new expansions like get to work? When can I use those careers

    ReplyDelete
  18. can the heir get a woman pregnant, that's not his wife?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, in generations 7 and 8. I made the mother in my first generation have two children with a vampir just because I wanted to spice it up. Do what you want, it's up to you. The rules are just guidelines to help along the way :)

      Delete
  19. I used the wishing well to get a child and one jumped out. It was the first male. Is he still the heir? Or is it the next born male?

  20. Really enjoying this challenge. Thank you! There are enough rules to check the list once or twice, but not so many that you can't keep track!

  22. This is an interesting challenge. I was having some difficulty since in TS4 children are taken away if they do not go to school. There is a mod for this that allows children to quit school and it is compatible with the pre school mod as far as I can tell so far.

  23. Can I age up my child

    ReplyDelete
  24. Do u have to wait for the childs birthday to age up?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Can we make the heir have more than 1 wife?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm wondering if it would be okay to create an updated version of this for those of us who have expansions - if not totally okay but I made a personal document for me to help expand this challenge to utilize the expansions I own.

    1. Super cool. I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate the new packs in my replay

    2. I'd love that!

  27. I gave myself a couple extra rules:
-Ruling couple has to "Woohoo for Baby" until they have an Heir and a Spare or a full house. (I'll just have to marry the girls off and play their homes to get grandchildren).
-Girls must have $20k dowry to move out.
-Playing on long as suggested to reach the goals for each generation can get very boring if I have to wait until birthdays to age up, so my toddlers and children can age up once they reach max skills.
-Girl teenagers have to max parenting (since they don't have to do homework or get jobs) before aging up and boy teenagers have to have A's.

    1. I also made 2 rules for this challenge to be little easier: 1.all girls can go to school and "study hard" option but they can't do homework, lets say that they're going to school where they learn stuff about cooking, family, etc
2.All girls can't go to university if u have that pack in game and can't have nerd brain aspiration or renaissance aspiration.
